Privacy Policy
GF43 provides Lịch Việt to look up Vietnamese lunar and solar dates, manage family occasions and set reminders. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Information stored on your device
The app stores events, titles, notes, dates, reminder times, family profile nicknames, birth years and optional birthdays on your device. It also stores preferences and pinned activities. You choose what to enter. The app does not require an account or provide GF43 cloud synchronization. GF43 does not receive this personal calendar content through an app server or send it to AdMob for ad targeting.
Reminders and Android widgets
With your permission where required, reminders are scheduled locally through your device’s notification system. Notification text may show event names and dates on the lock screen according to your device settings. You can disable reminders in the app or change notification permission in device settings. Android widgets keep a local calendar snapshot that can include upcoming event titles and dates; these can be visible to anyone who can view your home screen.
Backup, restore and sharing
You can export a backup file containing your events, family profiles, preferences and pinned activities, then restore a file you select. Treat backup files as personal information: the app does not password-protect them. Files you save or send remain in the location or service you choose. Sharing a calendar card also sends the selected content to the recipient or app you choose. Their handling of that content follows their own policies. Device or operating-system backup may copy app data according to your device settings.
Advertising on Android
The Android app uses Google AdMob. Depending on consent, region and device settings, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Google’s advertising SDK may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, device or advertising identifiers, interactions with the app or ads, and diagnostic information to deliver and measure ads and help prevent fraud. Non-personalized ads do not mean that no data is processed.
The app uses Google’s consent flow where applicable. When required by that flow, “Lựa chọn quảng cáo” (Ad choices) appears in the Cá nhân section so you can revisit your choices. Retention and deletion
Local information remains until you change or delete it, replace it through restore, or clear the app’s storage. Deleted events are recoverable in the on-device trash for up to 30 days; expired entries are cleaned up on a subsequent save. The trash is not included in exported backups. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local app data, but does not delete exported files, shared copies or device backups. Manage those copies separately. Google retains advertising data according to its policies and your applicable settings; GF43 cannot delete Google’s records from within this app.
Children
Lịch Việt is not specifically directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to GF43 through a support message, contact us so we can review and address it.
Contact and changes
If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you include and use them to respond to your request. Do not send backup files or family information unless needed for your request. For privacy questions or requests, email gf-43@googlegroups.com.
We may update this policy when the app’s features or data practices change. The current version and effective date will appear on this page.
